A shade that resonates with compassion, effortlessly bridges the youthful with timeless. This gorgeous peach hue softly nestled between pink and orange, is an idea as much as it is a feeling. PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz awakens our senses to the comforting presence of cocooned warmth and evokes a new modernity. Turning to a colour that focuses on the importance of community and coming together with others, this warm and cozy shade evokes our desire for togetherness.”

In the ever-evolving landscape of event designing, staying on top of the latest trends is important for creating impactful and relevant experiences. Peach Fuzz is a versatile colour, perfect for the upcoming summer event calendar, and can be seamlessly integrated into various event themes and concepts.
Recently, El Paradiso Events used this very colour to stir a sense of community and belonging for a Fortune 500 Leadership event. Back in October, we designed and styled a Welcome Cocktail Evening and CEO Dinner for one of the world’s leading technology brands. The clients brief was to authentically (and tastefully) merge elements of the Spanish and Barcelona cultures so their international guests could get a real taste of Spain. The most important design wish was to create an elegant Spanish Style affair in order for their 200 guests to enjoy an intimate/family-style atmosphere, enhancing a feeling of closeness and connection. We embraced this in a number of ways, incorporating a warm colourway of sunset and peachy tones via tablescape design, and other design-led surprise and delight elements.
Little did we know, we were channelling PANTONE’s Colour of the Year for 2024 even before it was even announced, but my point is that… when the brief was to enhance a feeling of togetherness, that was the design colour that we naturally gravitated to. In a world which often emphasises intense productivity and external achievements, people and companies alike are craving a feeling of community and collaboration. And this warm shade is the epitome of highlighting our desire for togetherness with others, helping us find moments of human connection amid the hustle and bustle of modern life. Below, we have picked 5 ways you can utilise the PANTONE Colour of the Year 2024 for your next corporate, brand or private event in 2024.
1. Tablescape of the Year
Choose peach fuzz for the pop of colour to your tablescape design. There is a wide variation of peach colours to choose from, including shades of coral, pinks and oranges that all pair well together, and serve as a beautiful compliment to burgandys and reds. Peach is also a great colour to work with when there is a neutral colour palette involving nudes, beige, and metallic for a more sleek and modern take.
2. Guest Engagement
Engage your attendees with interactive experiences that celebrate the beauty of Peach Fuzz. In regards to florals specifically, bleached and dried florals are great for paying homage to Peach Fuzz in a modern, boho way. Even though peach is a softer, more subtle hue, it can still make for an impactful display in volume and style.

5. Natural Sunset Lighting
For the Leadership Event, we designed the tablescape with an ombre of peach family colours, from Oscar De La Renta plates with a stunning coral design to burnt orange napkins, right down the vases, floral and fruit arrangements. So when the golden hour of sunset rolled in, it created an amazing kaleidoscope of warm and peachy hues when reflecting off the tablescapes design… a light, mood and moment you cannot buy. If and when your venue or space allows it, let the natural light and the magical sunset light do the talking. When the sun starts to set, you will have the most gorgeous natural form of the PANTONE Colour of the Year you could ask for at your event.
